From the moment you enter the double wooden front doors you are home! And why would you leave? A welcoming entry hall offers a view into the cosy kitchen with fireplace and access to the loggia. To the left and down a few steps the spacious living, again with fireplace, and dining area await invitingly. Two sets of doors open to various terraces and the windows offer views of Todi in the distance, the garden and pool area. To the right of the entry you’ll find a spacious bedroom and bathroom with tub. A second bathroom with shower is located halfway the staircase to the first floor which features two additional good size bedrooms.
From the hallway another set of stairs leads to the lower level and into a large space currently used as cantina. A kitchen with fireplace harbours a large dining table and opens up to patio with a pergola and the pool area. Next to the kitchen are a bathroom and storage area.
The house features only traditional materials of the right kind. Hand made cotto floors, ceilings with bricks and beams and all doors and windows area hand made and of high quality. With this base and it’s solid stone walls the house offers a perfect canvas for anyone who desires to give the interior a more contemporary look. With a reasonably small intervention the covered porch next to the front door can become a second ground floor bedroom.
The land is fully fenced and the electric gate is set between nice stone columns. A gravel driveway leads up to the house and passes below the pool to the wooden outbuilding. Tall cypress trees and roses line the short road and add an impressive touch.
The garden around the house features mature trees and flowering plants as well as well maintained lawns. Various terraces offer either sun or shade throughout the day. The large pool enjoys a sunny position and lies at a very convenient distance from the summer kitchen.
