The home was built making intelligent use of the sloping land. The driveway leads to a ramp and a x-large garage with plenty of additional storage or workshop space. The dream for any countryside property owner with plenty of garden tools, olive grove accessories and fire wood to store. The access to the house is a convenient mudroom which leads to the lower level landing. Up a few steps we find a spacious laundry room and a bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower. As this room sits mostly underground it’s just perfect in the hot summer season, also as playroom or office.
The ground floor offers a large open space with a modern wine red kitchen, a dining area and living with fireplace. Large doors open up to the very spacious covered porch to extend the living space outdoors. Lovely views can be enjoyed anywhere you go inside and out.
Again a few steps up there are a spacious double bedroom and a single room which share a good size bathroom with shower. The single room, currently in use as office offers access to a large terrace at the side and back of the house. On the opposite side, detached from the house there is a boiler & storage room as well as a great workshop or office space.
The top floor harbours a simply wonderful master bedroom with soothing blue walls and an absolutely delightful covered balcony. It offers ample space for a breakfast nook and sitting area and the view is again breathtaking. With the bright walls and arches one would expect the ocean right there where the pool is located. A cosy dressing rooms leads to a large modern bathroom with walk-in shower, tub and double sink.
The home is situated at the higher end of a rectangular slightly sloping plot which is mostly fenced. The lower part features an olive grove with about 160 producing trees. The house itself is surrounded by a well maintained garden based on solid and clever landscaping which greatly enhances the greenery.
The pool measures 11 x 4 m and has an overall depth of 1.40m. The voguish deep grey sundeck wraps around the pool and is the perfect place to enjoy the view and sunset. There is an outside shower as well as a large wall mounted sunshade.
Various terraces around the house make it possible to enjoy the outdoors throughout the year. It is easy to move around as sun, wind and view change with the seasons.
Monte Castello di Vibio is one of the ‘Borghi più belli d’Italia’. The little town is known for its history and culture and the smallest theater in the world, Teatro della Concordia. With some shops, a restaurant, bar and even hotel it offers all you need for daily life. Monte Castello sits on a hilltop which is surrounded by a beautiful and quiet countryside which features grand views, olive groves, rolling fields and woodland. Many fascinating cities and sites are in close proximity like Todi, the vineyards of Monte Falco and Bevagna, Perugia, Assisi and Orvieto. The E45 motorway ensures swift connections to both Rome and Tuscany. The nearest international airport is Perugia, followed by Rome.
