As in the past only part of the foundations have been reinforced the house is slightly off balance. As a result there are crack in various upstairs walls. The land

From the gravel road a gate gives access to the garden. There is a terrace adjacent to the house and towards the view. The land next to the house is perfectly level whereas the part below the house is terraced and slightly sloping. Nice olive trees and some fruit trees liven up the garden which also features the traditional type of plants like lavender, rosemary and roses. With just a hammock and some chairs it is a simply delightful place to enjoy the beautiful view and tranquility of this gorgeous area.

The area

The Tiber valley cuts through the hills between Todi and Orvieto. This property lies at the south side of that valley, up in the hills. This part is known for its unspoilt nature, stunning views and superb authentic medieval hamlets. The village is small but the population an interesting mix of locals and foreigners. Nearby Todi (15 km) offers plenty of cultural life, shops, restaurants, a theater and cinema. Access to the E45 means swift travelling to places like Perugia, and Assisi. The well known vineyards of Montefalco and Bevagna are also within easy reach. Orvieto is famous for the cathedral and a delightful city with great train connections to Rome and Tuscany. Near Orvieto is also the closest access to the A1 highway. Perugia offers the nearest international airport.
