About Caroline Suzanne van Agteren

Who am I?

My background features a melting pot of places and activities. After finishing law school in Holland I went to live in the Caribbean and became scuba instructor, dive shop owner and had an import company for Italian dive gear. After al that I started all over again with a full scale renovation of a run down building to create an ocean front boutique hotel. A couple of years the world was and calling out to me and so I moved to an ancient watermill in the middle of Umbria.
I renovated this one as well, settled in and entered the real estate business. Not by accident as property and renovations have always had my interest. I learned the ins and outs of the business and being a lawyer has certainly helped me understand the complicated legal issues involved with buying and selling.

It is in my character to explore, understand, manage and arrange, to take care and to share as well as to be a good entrepreneur and so this profession brings me a lot of satisfaction. I have high standards, and have surrounded myself with a network of trustworthy professionals to be able to cover all angles. I work until the job is done right, love to communicate  and am known for my honesty, trouble solving and negotiating skills.
