With its striking dove tower and courtyard farmhouse is a fine example of a rural building with a very strong own identity. The oldest part was already present in the 18th century Gregorian land registry and is most clearly of ancient construction. Some of the archways and the way the stone walls have been built still reflect medieval customs. In general it seems very likely the structure has been constructed during the Renaissance era.
Old extensions as well as more recent ones have over time changed the lay-out as well as architectural features. Fortunately the most evident characteristics have been left untouched.
A full renovation is required which will include some structural interventions as well. For this job we recommend our colleagues from Renovating in Umbria that have done many great project in Umbria and have an excellent portfolio of finished projects.
As a farm needs land this property consists of 30 ha. of farmland of which is divided into olive groves, arable land and some woodland. With help of an agronoom it is very well possible and not complicated to receive subsidy for agricultural activities. Though the owner preferably wants to sell the whole property it might be possible to discuss other solutions.
