Farmhouses with fabulous view

In short

This is a great project for either an extensive country house of hospitality project. It needs a complete overhaul as both the houses and outbuildings are in bad shape. The farm houses are part of a much larger property for which a large scale project including golf courses has been designed, but can be sold separately. The farmhouses

These building were already present in the Gregorian land registry which dates back to the 17th and 18th century. The current registry still shows the history of the houses as all the various parts are visible as such even on paper. Starting out as small dwellings and stables these buildings developed over time when more and more rooms were added on. Apart from one former stable everything is built in local stone.

The job

A lot of the materials can be recuperated and used in the reconstruction. Certain characteristics will have to be maintained as is local custom. This area is subject to many clear regulations which have as a goal to protect the landscape.

The land

Included in the sale will be 1 ha of land, it is possible to acquire more should one desire to do so. The land is sloping and offers beautiful views in all directions. The road which is visible on the pictures can be moved away from the buildings.

The area

This property is situated in the hills of the Tober valley between Todi (E45) and Orvieto (A1). This region is much praised for it’s authentic look and stunning scenery and is high in demand. The nearest international airports are Perugia (60 km) and Rome (130 km).
