This  enchanting old house enjoys a quiet, slightly isolated and very private location in the hills north of Perugia. A long gravel road leads up to the property and ends right there, making it a place without any noise or disturbance of any kind. The old home was once a farmhouse with the typical characteristics of that category. It was built in stone and in two consecutive phases. The ground floor spaces served as stables and still features a large arch that allowed a carriage to be stored inside. The traditional external staircase led up to the living quarters and obviously the inhabitants made use of their own wood oven.

The building has suffered neglect after it has been abandoned, the sad story of many of these beautiful homes. A buyer can decide to maintain the best part and renovate it while adding on a nex extension. The surroundings are quiet and the nearest village with amenities is Pierantonio at 3 km distance. Umbertide is the nearest little town (16 km), with a quaint center and known for its farmer’s market. The famous Antognolla golf course lies at an easy 17 km distance. Other nearby beautiful towns are Gubbio with a stunning medieval center, Città di Castello and of course Perugia (19 km). The latter is the ancient capital of Umbria of Etruscan origins and nowadays a bustling student town. The nearest international airport is near Perugia, at 25 km distance.
