The Tower

The original watch tower was joined by a second tower and then integrated in the house which has been added to the structure. The medieval outside is impressive yet not overwhelming and blends in well with the landscape. The plot slopes down which makes it just perfect for adding a pool and deck which will stay connected to the house.

Hand made cotto floors and traditional ceilings with beams and bricks catch they eye. There is a choice between creating two separate apartments or connecting all floors to enjoy the building as a single home. Structurally the building is in good condition. The current owner renovated the majority of the inside spaces but some work still needs to be done, around the house as well. The electrical and plumbing system need work, the bathroom needs an overhaul, it would be good to add a second one as well as a kitchen. The grounds

The house lies conveniently along a very quiet tarmac road so there is no gravel road to be maintained. The house is located in a quiet and nice area in central Umbria. About 4 km from the E45 highway which ensures swift connections to Rome, Perugia (international airport) and of course Tuscany. The nearest amenities are in Monte Castello di Vibio at 2.5 km distance and Todi’s shopping area is about 6 km away. Many fascinating cities like Orvieto, Monte Falco, Spoleto and Assisi are within easy reach.
