The houses

Two houses is just perfect for family or friends who’d like to share their dream. The property can also be developed as a B&B, vacation rental home or office. One house to enjoy, and one to rent out! The buildings are situated close to each other but the sloping land and position of the homes ensure privacy and peace for all occupants.

The first house (270 sqm) is a typical ancient farmhouse. It was built in stone and bricks, one piece at the time. It has many original features which give it great character. This home will need a full blown renovation. The second home (160 sqm) is of more recent construction with a more modern look. The ground floor offers however an old wood oven and of course stables. The first floor harbours a bright apartment. A thorough make-over of both the inside and outside can turn this building into a delightful home, rental or other. Of course it is also possibile to leave and renovate only one building and demolish the other one.

The land

The plot covers approximately  2500 square meters and features a nice little olive groove. Some mature trees as well as a nice line up of tall cypress trees add a nice touch. The land around the houses is flat and slightly sloping towards the view and valley.

The surroundings

The northern part of Umbria showcases winding roads, rolling fields and forested hills, beautiful views and quiet ancient villages. The nearest city it Umbertide, widely known for its Saturday farmer’s market and quaint historic center. The famous little town of Cortona is 35 km away while Lake Trasimeno lies at a mere 28 km distance. Many other great cities like Perugia, Assisi in Umbria but also for example Arezzo in Tuscany are within easy reach. The nearest international airport is located right next to Perugia.
