The building

The L-shaped building consists of two quite different wings. Both in excellent structural state yet quite contrasting on the inside. The two story  left wing is of recent construction and features single open spaces on both floors, interrupted only by one row of columns.  A good number of windows provide  lots of natural light. The ground floor offers direct access to the garden and boasts the atmosphere of an antique orangery which is enhanced by it’s beautiful ceiling.  The ground floor offers space to seat 170 people, the first floor can harbour 200 people.

The right part of the building is the original old part dating back to 1700 and still features many original characteristics. The ground floor showcases the original central entrance hall. To the left is the hallway connecting to the left wing as well as kitchen spaces. To the right there is an office space followed by a suite with sitting room, bedroom and bathroom.

The first floor offers bathrooms for the big hall, and a traditional palace style living area consisting of a living room, reading room as well as three bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. Below the roof there is an ample attic space which may serve as storage space. The roof has been completely redone.

The grounds

The villa is situated on approximately 4.000 sq m of land. The property is fully fenced and an electric gate gives access to the convenient parking area which is lined with greenery and ornamental olive trees. A path leads between the villa and an ancient wall and onto a beautiful lawn. To the left the pool area is hidden at a slightly lower level and sheltered by both the brick wall and tall hedges giving it an intimate character. The lawn features a round fountain, arches with climbing roses,  mature magnolia trees an annex with bathrooms and is frequently used for dinners and ceremonies.

The surroundings

The views of gently green hills and the quaint countryside reveal the nature of the surroundings. For guests or collaborations on events there is an endless choice of places to visit.  Many fascinating cities are within easy reach, both in Umbria as well as in Tuscany. To the east ever famous and ancient Assisi lies at a mere 22 km distance. Followed by the line up of towns like Spello, Trevi and Spoleto, well known for its annual music festival. The vineyards of Bevagna and Montefalco are a approximately 30 km away. To the north are Cortona, Siena and Lake Trasimeno which are wonderful destinations that offer plenty of opportunities for clients and guests as well.

The location of the venue is very central within Umbria. The nearest international airport is Perugia at 9 km, followed by Ancona at 110 km, Siena 110 km, Firenze 163 km and Rome at 200 km distance.
